Bother. Had a reply 1/2 done and the cat knocked the mouse off the sofa arm and it closed all my tabs. :( 2nd go.
We use our crock pot regularly. It's great because you can use cheaper cuts of meat, but even better because like you said, you can avoid takeaways because you've already got something at home.
